Montessori education is important for parents as well as students. Your child’s Montessori experience will be enhanced by your knowledge of Montessori philosophy and techniques and by the Montessori environment you create in your home. The School invites all parents to participate in parent education evenings and to borrow from our library of Montessori writings.

We believe in open communication with parents. You will be kept up to date with your child’s progress through regularly scheduled parent-teacher interviews and open houses which provide an opportunity for the children to demonstrate the work they are doing. In addition, you are invited to call the School at any time to set up additional meetings, to visit the classrooms throughout the year and to attend education evenings, conferences and other events. There are also newsletters distributed on a regular basis to keep you up to date with all events and the latest news around the School.  Furthermore, there are emails sent out almost everynight by the director to also keep you informed.

Parent involvement in extra-curricular activities such as field trips is an essential component of our School. Please let us know if you are able to volunteer from time to time during the School year. In addition, Montessori Learning Center has a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), which all parents are welcome to join. The PTO help organize in-class and school events which bring the School’s community together in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
